Join Our Network

MHN is a vibrant, growing healthcare organization with a need for qualified licensed mental health professionals in many parts of the country.

We offer our membership a professional, well-established and diverse Practitioner Network. Through our network of individual treatment practitioners and alternate care facilities, MHN can offer accessible, high quality mental health and substance abuse services to our customers.

Practitioners in our network are selected based upon established criteria reflecting professional standards for education, training and licensure. Eligible practitioners include psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical social workers, clinical nurse specialists, master's level clinicians and other independently licensed counselors. Credentials are verified upon initial application to the network and during the re-credentialing process every three years thereafter.

In order to qualify for participation in the MHN network, practitioners must meet these minimum qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice independently (without supervision) in your state
  • Hold a degree from a regionally accredited school
  • Hold professional liability insurance of at least $1 mil/$1 mil (non-physician); $1 mil/$3 mil (physician)
  • Have the ability to bill electronically
  • Have a valid e-mail address

If you would like to participate in MHN's practitioner network and you meet the minimum qualifications above, please click to complete the on-line network participation request form below.

MHN will review your request to ensure you meet initial participation criteria and respond via e-mail within 7 business days. Please note that completion of the participation request form and/or credentialing application does not guarantee acceptance in the MHN provider network.

If your participation request is approved, you will receive a supplemental application packet from MHN. MHN participates with the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) Universal Credentialing Datasource. Once you have returned the completed supplemental application you will be provided with a CAQH Provider ID and asked to go to the CAQH website to complete an application. Upon completion of the CAQH application, MHN will review the information for completeness and accuracy, perform primary source verifications, and notify you when the process has been concluded. Please note that substantial delays can occur for incomplete application packets, and there is no guarantee that an application will be approved. MHN reserves the right to deny network participation.
